Without actually thinking about his situation he sometimes does things out of the blue
which sometimes has a good outcome or can be just disastrous.
He really can't read people or situations, which makes him clueless as to what's happening.
Being blunt makes him direct when talking to people. He's usually not
shy but he's shy in front of cute girls and fans and shy when doing things like aegyo.
It might not show but he's actually all abt that justice, he can't do bad
things because of his conscience and also he gets stressed about it the entire day.
When he has a clear opinion of something he won't change that opinion for anybody
he'd pick fights with people about it. He's sometimes overconfident about the things he "thinks"
he's good at. But he definitely knows when to back off of something he knows nothing about.
He used to have a really bad history(picks fights, disrespect everybody, miss classes, etc) in
high school, so some of the rough, short tempered side of him sometimes come out if
you nudge him enough but that doesn't happen easily because he promised not to be that person again.

Why I joined S.O.S: Mostly because of the encouragement of his sister and because of his passionate interest in music.

History:

Hwa Rang was born and raised in Korea until he had to move to the US after finishing
kindergarden because of his dad's job. He had a nice childhood and adjusted easily to 
the new environment because of his young age and made many friends. He had a good
relationship with his sister(Lee Na Mi) and family members, he would spoil his little sister
and she would always be his first priority. He lived there for 7 years and then had to move
back once again because his dad had to move back again. To his dismay, because of his
sister's strong desire to stay there, his sister stayed in the US and lived with a friend. 

When he moved back to Korea he was overwhelmed at first by Korea's different culture and
couldn't adjust well at all, and had difficulty with speaking Korean because he only spoke Korean
with his family members at home. He had a hard time making friends and communicating with
people and eventually became a loner and developed a more introverted personality. He became
outcasted by the class and retaliated this situation by become a delinquent that nobody could dare
make fun of. In time he did adjust to his life in Korea and made his own delinquent friends, but overall
wasn't a good lifestyle, not going to school, picking fights, etc. 

Hwa Rang's sister moved back to Korea when she finished middle school and found out how her brother
was acting and became upset by this. She tried convincing him to change and she reminded him of how
much he loved music before. At first he didn't believe he would be worth more than a delinquent but
after a lot of converse he tried changing his ways and eventually tried to chase his dream to sing and
make music.

- grew his hair out because his sis told him he looked “prettier” this way
- although embarrassed by his long hair, secretly he really likes it that way
- was the no.1 delinquent at his high school

- and yes he wore glasses in high school, so he was the nerdiest looking delinquent ever
- although he's used to it now, he used to feel embarrassed admitting he was the visual
  because one thing he isn't confident in is his looks
